(Fixed bell version shown) Enjoy a unique dual bore system with the Paxman 25 LGDM Full Double French Horn. The Paxman bore system features a larger cylindrical bore on the F side, meaning that there are similar levels of resistance on the Bb side. Central to this design is the Merewether System, which allows airflow in the same direction on the F and Bb horns, minimising interruption from the turning rotor.
The Paxman Double French Horn also features a tuning slide for each side, allowing the player to add an extension with a manually operated A valve, a mouthpipe main slide to drain the instrument, and an easily reversible thumb valve for either the F or Bb.
