Yamaha YHR871D Custom French Horn

The YHR-871D is Yamaha’s new premium double horn. With a traditional Geyer wrap and large .476” bore, a time-tested design meets its maximum performance potential.
 
No expense is spared with this model. Gold brass leadpipe and inner slide tubes deepen tone and resonance, while the nickel silver valve casing, engraved valve caps and a hollow 4th rotor add responsiveness and life. Yamaha’s steadfast commitment to quality control, excellence in manufacturing, and constant innovation are all embodied in the 871D.

The Yamaha YHR871D is an upgraded version of the 671.  The hollow 4th rotor allows for improved response and clearer tone.  With its traditional Geyer wrap, the Yamaha 871 is a solid and reliable horn with quick response and a consistent tone throughout all registers.
